87 cents
Dear Verizon,
We’ve had our ups and downs, mostly downs, but for some reason I still hang in with you. When you gave me a bill for repairs my landlord would not allow me to do, I just gave you a call told you to take that off.
Three months ago, when you sent me to six operators in two hours just for all of them to say that my little township could not accept new DSL customers, I looked the other way. I forgave you for that.
However, when I got the bill today three months after I moved and closed my DSL account in Virginia for 87 cents, you must realize how I could get upset. You should apologize to me for having me talk to four people in 40 minutes over less than a dollar, an amount you were to take out of my checking account. Luckily, the fourth person adjusted my account and gave me credit for the 87 cents. If that didn’t happen, our relationship would be over.
