New year stuff
This new year has already given me too much drama to handle. There’s some work-related stuff that I won’t get into, but I’ll outline the tough or comical parts of it all:
- I already have notices for my 10-year high school reunion. I have tried to prepare myself for this, but the fact that it’s happening now hasn’t sunk in yet. I mean, finding what my former classmates are doing via Facebook and MySpace has been enough for me thus far, but the memories I have about Georgia, school, etc., weren’t always great.
- Speaking of Georgia, my grandmother has bought a house there. Why? I have no clue. In the seven or 11 years I’d lived there, she visited my family only twice, traveling six hours from North Carolina. Now, she’s there every other month. It’s nuts.
- I bought an Xbox 360. I did so much research into finding one of the brand new ones with the new Falcon chipset, and I don’t know if the one I purchased at Wal-Mart is the right one. It was made in November, so hopefully it’s alright.
- I really am redesigning the site. I’m using a trial version of Dreamweaver, but I only have 10 days left on it. My goal is to have three designs ready to go for this site and two for my upcoming second site. More details will be released later.
- I’ll return to my 2007 recap this weekend.
