I finally figured it out

I have decided to keep Never Mind Her as it is for now instead of building a new place from scratch. This past summer had been a rough one as far as my life has been, and I thought that a change of pace was in order. It just made matters tougher, and I have had to battle with that these days.

Most of this thinking came from not having ideas. I felt obligated into writing long passages about something that has happened, and that became a chore. I was updating Twitter at a rate eight times faster than this place. I wasn’t reviewing movies, and I haven’t done much with all my art projects.

Honestly, my life has plateaued a bit. The only exciting things that have happened in the last two months are my vacations and the downgraded neighbors I just got this week.

For now, I’m challenging myself to be more forward, more proactive in my own life. I didn’t realize how much I missed that until I saw that I had shot more than 375 photos on Wednesday while in New York. I want those times back, so I’m giving this another shot.

The change-up

I am about to change domains. I have registered for a new one, but I am not sure as to what I want to do with it. As far as I knew “never mind her” will change, but I will probably keep “cartophobic” as it is until that domain expires in October. Until then, I have a lot of thinking left to do. Otherwise, this is really a test of my friendfeed to see if my posts here will show up elsewhere.

The fatal touch

This week, and it’s only Thursday, I have killed three computers and an Xbox, had a small kitchen fire and escaped two aggressive panhandlers. I’m lucky to be alive.

Very quick update

The redesign is here! The redesign is here! I just have to work on Cartophobic and I won’t have to design for a while. Except at my job.

Testing this out

This is my second attempt of posting this message. I upgraded and redesigned my site, but I’m having a few problems with some of the Textpattern taglines. I have added more features (there are reviews now) and have finally linked my best friend’s wedding to the travel section. It’s amazing how much I don’t remember about designing a Web site after a few months. My last redesign was in February. That’s almost a lifetime on my watch.

I know that comments can’t be left yet, and I’m supposed to have done a meme at some point, probably tomorrow. In the meantime, the comment fields don’t work.
